Where do Seine cruises depart? A boarding checklist

The Eiffel Tower is easy to find. Your exact boarding gate can be less cooperative. Before you leave, check the quay and arrival time on your own ticket: Seine cruises do not all depart from the same pier.

Find the exact meeting point

Open your confirmation and look for the operator's quay, pier or port name and any entrance instructions. A listing that mentions the Eiffel Tower may still require you to go to a particular dock nearby. Use the map link supplied with your booking and allow for walking down to river level.

Check the boarding window

Departure time is not always boarding time. Some operators close boarding before the boat leaves, especially for a seated dinner cruise. Check the ticket for an arrival instruction rather than relying on a general rule. Build in extra time if you need to collect a ticket or locate the dock after dark.

Bring what your booking requires

Your digital or printed ticket in the format accepted by the operator.
